Hi There

For some reason i cannot post in any other thread so i had to do it here.

Basically when i try to get a webpages on the internet browser on the ps3,i get the following error

"Page cannot be displayed 80710012"

Can anyone help with this?

From my recollection, that error indicates no connection is available. Are you able to sign into PSN on the console?

Yeah i can sign in to my PSN. i can also stream movies to the ps3 and i have tested the netowkr connection and its connects fine and assigns a ip.

Are you getting NAT Type 3 when you run the Internet connection test?
Also, you aren't connected via any unusual means such as proxy servers?
Finally, though it may sound daft, are you typing the full address in the address bar? ("http://www.google.co.uk/" rather than "google")

No im not running through any proxy servers at all.Im typing the full address out. i can get google fine its just when i search.

like i watch the football through sky go via the browser, it will get so further but then get the error.

It may simply be that you have a poor quality wireless connection or interference causing the connection to be reset. What sort of percentage signal do you get?

NAT Type 2 should be fine and the fact you can use PSN says the connection shouldn't have any issues.

Im using a wired connection.so there is a good connection. the download speed is 20mbps and upload is 5.2mbps

I wouldn't expect Sky Go to work anyway as it uses Silverlight which isn't supported on the PS3 as far as I know.

Sky Go has worked in the past, its only been the last few days it has stopped working.

I also use a another streaming site that flash based and that has stopped working now too.

If the flash based site have upgraded to a newer version of flash then their site will stop working on the PS3 as it only supports upto Flash 9. Is it prompting you to upgrade flash on that site?
