Firmware V1.81

During  a race an error came up that said something along the lines of GPU Driver Crash - Taking GPU Driver Dump. then proceeded to turn off. The game is in the Card, not installed. Afterwards I was asked to send an error report. Is this hardware failure? How do I contact Sony apart from calling them as the calls tend to be expensive.

Have you encountered this on any other game at all, or since having this problem initially?

Hello I also recieve this error too, but it's in LittleBigPlanet.

Hi, thanks for the response. This is the first time the error has happened, this was the only game it happened to me on.I have not come accross it again unlike others who have the same problem, however I am still worried this means my machine is faulty or damaged, would this be a software or hardware issue?

Hmmm well I am on firmware 1.81 did you start playing this game on this firmware or are you on a different firmware? Trying to find out the similarities between these errors with different games.
This is very annoying and frustrating. :/

I am on Version 1.81, i started playing the game on this fw, didnt have a problem before on v1.8

Yes neither have I had any troubles with previous firmwares. I'm hoping its the firmware so it can get patched soon so I can start playing my vita properly again.

Hi guys,

I have had a few queries back on this:

1) Does this happen for all games?
2) is there any step that causes the game to crash? (Steps to reproduce)
3) Do you have the latest firmware?
4) What model is the PS VIta? (Wifi/3G)

Hey,
1) I haven't experienced this on any other games at the moment just LittleBigPlanet for me.
2) Well the crash is random for me when I start playing LittleBigPlanet it will crash within 5-10mins of gameplay.
3) Yes i have the latest firmware 1.81
4) I have a Wifi Ps Vita

I have tried deleting LittleBIgPlanet off my Vita then reinstalled it with all the latest game updates/ patches, and still I encounter this error.
