Just a quick question, hoping to find some information here since i can't find it anywhere else on the web. Before the attack on PSN i forwarded the ports that psn uses (used to use) so i would get a nat type 0 and was able to host games etc. apparently these ports have been changed since after the outage my type is back to 2, and i get a moderate type in black ops instead of open.
anyony has any idea what the new ports are, or how to find out?
would be really appreciated

Hi all seem to be having problem making new post, so hope I can get help here, I just got another ps3 after about 6-8 months without one and when I try to log in with old account it says its wrong Username or password yet both are what I used to log into PSN before... And when I try to renew password says my email address don't exists, so has my account been deleted for not using it for a long period of time?

in that case then:
you don't have to fill out the PORT field but the port it uses is 21
I just got an email back from sony saying they won't share this information with us yet. Though i established a nat type 0 now by putting my ps3 in a DMZ!
Cheers for the help

ithink u mean you tube
Due to Complications with SOE, A Manager for Sony US states that PSN could be down for an other week...
Are they connected? If so, why didn't they realise as soon as they took PSN down?
I thought SoE servers were taken down AFTER psn was? Meaning they are 2 separate things? So why would it affect PSN getting back up and running?
I think my head is about to explode lol.
From what been said, SOE servers going offline only affected Everquest, DCUO ect...
They are both interlinked in a way, I trust that SOE also needs a better update to there server, so its effecting the time it takes to get PSN up because they need to do what ever they need to do, This has effected the time frame for PSN, And now unffortly the Manager for support said that they no longer know of a time frame when the servers will turn on, if you look at my past posts here you'll find a youtub i've been linking of a guy calling sony every day.
i Think you mean you tube
