this Casino space is already a Rip-Off.... when PS Home starts getting into this area and its not run to the advantage of users it is getting into some very sticky areas. Casino Gambling on Home Network...should not be taken literally in the venue that users believe they can win big prizes and make a few extra chips. In a test , buying the VIP hat at 100 chips per throw is a bit too much Las Vegas for most PS Home users. In the space of 5 minutes, 400 chips were lost. On the 1st floor Blackjack tables, the Dealer, which is the House wins "21" an average of 6 times out of 12 hands played. Thats a 50% advantage to the House, which is Sony.com. The User (player) always looses. U get awarded a T shirt or a stack of chips or a single hand held chip for various playing actions. But after "winning that", the dealer (House) suddenly begins winning nearly every hand!.... who's being taken advantage of here?.... certainly not Playstation Network or its parent Company, Sony.com. So the Player, continues to buy more chips to play with. Result: Player almost always looses. buying 500 chips and playing straight 25 chip bets, this user Lost 215 chips in less than 10 minutes of play. the House won by "21" or "Push" nearly 40% of the time played with up to 4 other players at the table. Suddenly the game stopped. Went o another table to play. Somehow the new game "never started" yet curiously, my total lost an additional 25 chips ?......wat?.....who's kidding who here?... my point; GAMBLING and Playstation Home DO NOT mix well- it may be a bright new addition at first but, sooner or later some sort of Gaming Commission is going to look into this and what will be the outcome of it?.... Playstion Home should stick to what it does best; Providing entertainment to its users and game players, and being a place for people to meet.... GAMBLING ?... no..sorry, its a no-brainer- I see big problems ahead for Sony on this one. I love Home, but I dont love being ripped off.

I respect your opinion, although personally I love the Casino.
I dont think its rigged in anyway, as a Casino it has the advantage and doesn't need to 'rig' anything in the Casino's favor, as they already have it. I've played Blackjack and I've had good runs and bad runs, I had 3 blackjacks in a row, the dealer got none... was that a fix?
The Developers, DigitalLeisure (which are not Sony) have been on the Forums ironing out any glitches, and have made themselves available to re-credit any chips lost whilst the errors are dealt with. All chips that I have lost have been re-credited to me, and sometimes in less than 10 minutes.
They respond to ideas and requests, for example, you used to only get 100 chips on your first visit, but due to request, they've made it 100 free chips per week. They are also updating the rewards again soon, to include more.
The attention DigitalLeisure have given us is second to none, and I hope they are around with us for a long time and branch into other areas as well.
People often complain that its rigged when they lose a lot, but that happens. Personally, I have spent 99c on chips (for 500), and I now have over 12,000, and if I can win my entry into the VIP area then I will be buying some chips purely to support an excellent Developer.

If you don't like it don't play it then , personally I bought 500 chips to play poker and enjoyed it . Would I buy anymore when I've gambled all these away , probably not . As for charging people to play games on Home I think its OK like I said you don't have to play them and the other thing is Sony could make Home pay by making it a subscription service , I think they have the balance right between pay and not pay games .
