Alright lads and ladettes lol!
Just thought id post here and see what the outcome was with my problem?
Now i have had 3 playstations sent to me via courier from PlayStation because of faults obviously the first one i had i brought from HMV.. i phoned up PS last night telling about my situation because i couldn't get my BF1943 to download or couldn't even activate the Playstation i have now because of the limit was apparently set on my account? I wasn't told on the phone when i spoke to one of there reps to deactivate my account?..
Ok so your wondering wheres the other 2 activations? I have a property over in California in which i have a playstation and for the other one im not 100% i think i may have stuck my account on my cousins PS and im not sure he has even got it now lol.. I get a reply back to say today from them that there not going to pursue in my issue because of the 5 limit blah blah blah,
Its CLEAR as DAY that 3 of the 5 was not my fault? the guy on the phone even said this, Has anyone else had the same issue?
Thanks for your time guys and girls!

Heya,
If you contact our Customer Support line for your region (UK number is stickied at the top of this board) they'll be able to deactivate the consoles which you've sent back ![]()

Hey muster!
Thanks for the quick reply mate! Surely they would have done this already when i said about sending the consoles back?
They usually advise customers to deactivate their accounts but in some cases (where the console is inaccessible for example) this isn't possible.
They'll have all your old consoles on record though and will be able to deactivate the accounts using a support tool ![]()

I asked them to do this for me. The idiot on the phone was rude and told me flatly there is nothing he could do and unless i had all 5 consoles break and returned to them then they can't do anything.
One YLOD another got stolen, my girlfriends got YLOD a friends i had my account on YLOD and now im on my last activation. Why should i give them my broken console back for free just to get an activation back?
It's lunacy.
Me too, one PS3 returned 2 months after launch (with account still active), 2 YLOD's and 2 PS3's in my house. I was told by customer services there was nothing they could do until I reached my limit, even though they had a record of all my PS3's.
I agree the way it works is a bit pants.
