I get the feeling that we (the British) are like the Americans of Europe - very big gamers.

When I think of countries like Spain, Italy and Portugal, I get the feeling that they are not very big gamers (hot countries?)

I kind of get the feeling that the Scandinavians are big gamers though.

France, Germany, Belgium, Holland - fairly big gamers.

Eastern Europe - not so much.

Anyone know if this feeling is correct?

Like are there are sales figures that can back this up?

For example PS3 sales for every country in Europe?

Or maybe FIFA or CoD sales for each European country?

I would expect us to be no.1 in any such list.

The fattest, almost definitely.

Not sure otherwise, it isn't always easy to find sales across Europe and other similar stats.

The British never play video games, we're far to superior for that.   Nah we just look at the console and moan about it for half an hour then play and moan some more. If we ever get to play video games in piece without moaning then it's safe to say that E.T. has taken the politicians back home to a distant galaxy.

I would say we have to be one of the biggest gaming nations in Europe if not the biggest.

Saying that, evertime im playing online on my PS3 I always seem to be mixed in with French, German people etc. So maybe PS3 is more popular in other EU countries than it is here in the UK.

I wouldn't count Germany as big gamers, Christ they've only just been aloud to play the original Doom

Whenever I'm playing a game like Call of Duty online do I tend to notice a heck of a lot of French people in the lobbies I join. That's all I can say really!

yeah i get the French as well,and don't they like to chatter,Jesus...i mean,sure its good to talk,but i swear they don't pause for breath!!
