I called Sony and they said they cannot do anything to activate my console! Im not happy at all, my account is useless now.
I have spent loads of money buying games and content on psn, I know I have activated the limit of 5 consoles but for him to say I was game sharing is a joke.
There must be something I can do to activate my console, I re-bought my ps3 off the person i sold it too but my account wasn't on the console.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Going by what you have said ("but for him to say I was game sharing is a joke.") it looks like Sony have blocked it because they believe you were game sharing.
If this is not the case the only thing I can suggest is that you keep pestering Sony Customer Services to try and convince them that you are genuine. Explain the situation calmly and rationally (when I spent my time in CS one thing I found almost guaranteed NOT to get you listened to is to rant) and ask if they can do something.
If the person you speak to cannot help ask to speak to a supervisor. If you get no joy from those keep trying. Make a nuisance of yourself (a polite one of course). This can quite often work, CS departments get fed up and do what you want to get rid of you.
Unfortunately if anything is to be done it will be at the discretion of the Sony CS team or, more correctly, the discretion of one person in the CS team. Just hope you get to speak to somebody who is having a good day or who got l@id last night!
