This is getting beyond a joke now. It's only really since me and my friends started playing Raven (we've maxed out both Valor and SVER already) that we've noticed that the kick-vote system is in dire need of looking at.

I'm not exaggerating here when I say that almost every single night we play, at least 25% of the matches start, and within 30 second a kick vote is started on one of us for absolutely no reason. Then when that vote fails, a kick vote is started on another one of us. And then after that another one, finally starting the process all over again starting with the first player again.

Let me just clarify that "no reason" for you:

We're not team killers.

We're not mouthy on comms.

We use teamwork and tell the team things they need to know.

As squad leaders we do our job properly.

We play the game as it should be played. 

We always revive downed team-mates when possible.

We usually end up being top players, at least on the squad, XP wise.

The people starting these kick votes are ruining the game for everyone, and if they spent more time on the battlefield doing what they should be doing, a hell of a lot more matches would be won. And like I said, this problem has only become apparent since joining Raven, it never really happened on the other two, bar the odd occasion here and there.

We never actually get kicked as the votes never carry on, but it does cause a problem if we need to kick someone else for team killing on purpose or being general llamas (not used that term in years! xD) because a kickvote is almost always already on the go.

I think Zipper certainly need to tweak the system, and the best way of solving the problem would be to make it so each player on the team can only start one vote every 5 minutes. Then if there's 2 team killers to boot one player can do one and another can do the other one, but these annoying idiots that think its funny to just start votes for everyone can't do that any more.

Sorry for the rant, it's just annoyed me a bit lol

If you're a person that does it - please don't. You're not doing your team *any* favours.

Hiya Cookie, just when i was starting to think it was just me that this was happening to, i'm rank 40 on Raven; (not tried the other two factions yet) so i've not played the game much, i was playing this afternoon with my buddy & time after time vote to kick me kept on appearing, each time the vote was unsuccessful, it got me & my mate thinking "why" we ended up with "maybe they wanted to be squad leader" but probably more like the "idiots" we all come across from time to time that just want to ruin peoples games, it does need to be looked in to though.

Yeah it happens almost every night, last night was in fact hilarious because there were 7 of us in one group, someone started a kickvote on one of us for no reason at all, and it was plainly obvious that it was the random guy in the squad that did it. 

We just laughed, if I were in a more irritated mood I'd have voted to kick him back but we're not like that, we don't just kick players without good, solid reasons. TK's, completely ignoring any team orders etc (e.g. camping as a sniper overlooking A when we're attacking B in Sabo, i mean *****). 

Although my biggest gripe at the moment is the increasing number of lag switchers that are playing. I just had one match where 3 guys, all with the same clan tag (not going to name and shame, against forum rules), were camping at C before they took A and B, each one of them would disappear or freeze, then re-appear about 5 feet away, and no joke a shotgun killed me from what looked to me to be about 30 feet away (i was on the small adjoining bunker on the left hand side of C on Raven's home map laying down in front of the steps into C, the guy shot me from right inside the point and one hit killed me with a shotgun, not even a headshot. Now that, in my eyes, isn't right.

hiya, yeah i've heard & seen loads of these lag switch users, i've had my fair share of it aswell, don't understand it myself, why go & buy a game only to cheat,

they find it fun, its childish but what can we do.

only thing developers could do it to monitor connection stats and if a monitoring program find a connection is regularly switching between 10mb to 0.5mb dl rate then kick them from the game.

i agree but i also think the shotgun is too strong. they should just remove the kick thing from the whole game if that what it takes

I had a player from another squad shouting at all the people in our side. It was do this or I will come over there and stab you or shoot you. So there I was trying to take out snipers at Valor's C from our spawn point at B because they where killing to many of us at our spawn. And what did the player shouting at do well he stabbed me then a few seconds later got killed by a sniper.

So there he was telling people what do and yet he was moaning about getting killed by snipers all the time. Best thing to deal with a sniper is with another sniper and I had no chance of getting all of them as he was ruining the game for me and many other players. He kept threating another sniper in another squad with teamkilling but  yet he wanted somebody to deal with the snipers of Valor. He did teamkill a couple of times. What a bully I wished I could have kicked him.  I never heard anybody else in the game although they did have headsets as he hogged the mic.

So he was a plantoon leader or the leader of the Raven army in that game but he did not go about it right. I hate people shouting out orders and threats it is after all a game which he made a point about at the start of the game. He was nothing more than a bully.

I tried to kick a teamkiller last week that was teamkilling all the squad all the time and done nothing else but teamkill the squad. The player did not get voted out but other players in the squad ended up leaving the game and I was one of them.

Players kick people for things that suck like they want to be squad leader. I only kick when it really matters like teamkilling on purpose and bullying.

I've been kicked once or twice. Yes I swear sometimes- esp when it is so obvious another player is lagging and keeps killing me. I get frustrated. But I have been also kicked for speaking English !!! By a group of French. I speak enough to understand "kick la Angletarre".

HEY..I know. If you are brave enough to vote someone out then at least be polite enough to explain your actions.

I like many seem to be meeting more and more users that just won't die unless by grenade. It maybe fun guys but get a life. Learn to play the game and stop ruining the experience for others.

Many won't like this but I also find the majority of switchers seem to be State side. I know there will be some slow down over these distances but I've played all these types of games long enough to know the difference between a one off glitch and a a big fat cheat.

Well aparently they're working on a number of fixes to reduce lag switching exploits.

They're also supposedly working on making it harder to TK.

I just hope that at the same time they make kicking more idiot proof.  (I can but hope.)

Never been kicked myself or even voted for, but my mate was just for being SL, luckily he didn't get booted.  But even if you survive the boot, it's not a nice feeling to be threatenned with removal with explanation or obvious wrong reason.

I have also not been in a squad as yet where someone has been kicked unfairly.  Voted for yes, but not actually kicked, partially because I won't join in unless a clear reason is given.  (Don't vote just because the 'cool kids' do it...)
