Muslims seem to get offended very easily, I thought we lived in a country that respected freedom of speech and expression.  I find this relentless self censorsing to placate one section of the community frankly quite worrying.

I'm disappointed Sony, very disappointed.  You could've released a patch, and the people that could be potentially offended by this didn't have to buy it.  Disgraceful.

Actually I am thinking of sueing Sony.  If I see something Offensive in LBP - like lets say a specific religion being mocked or certain creature that I love.  Yep, ill be all over the news.

Sony opened themselves up for lawsuits on this game.

I am going to quickly spoil the ending of this post for you and tell you: OP I hate you. Now like the movie "Pulp Fiction", I will go back to the beginning and explain the conclusion.

You, and some of the Muslim religion have stepped over the line and have complained about a minor, minor issue, if it can even be called an issue. "We Muslims consider the mixing of music and words from our Holy Quran deeply offending." Do you know how stupid this makes you sound? This has annoyed a very, very large majority of fans and will now waste developer's money and time that could have been spent on new game content.

You did not have to take such major actions, you could have told your friends about it and been like "O'noes, thse wr0ds shud b s33n n nt h3rd", and then maybe if you took a deep breathe and got off your high camel you would have realised, your television has this thing called volume, and by the light of Muhammed you could mute the sound so you do not have to hear the 44 second musical track, which has cost players to wait for arguably one of the most anticipated games of the year for atleast a minimum of 2 weeks. 

I would just like to complain about the Christmas themed level where the Christmas Tree gets knocked over and say, I am an epic Christian and I have consulted my fellow Christians and we all find vandalism of the Christmas Tree deeply upsetting and offending. If we made Little Big Planet a religion (Which it should be ) Then we could take offense in muslims not respecting our religious ways. In the end we'd, either argue about it untill they respect it or have a holy war between Sackboy and people who can't see the difference between a guy on a piece of paper, and a well-I-shouldn't-post-that. (It'd probably just get deleted when someone begins to whine anyway.)

I do think we're clear on this being way too worked up. They probably have long religious arguments after any muslim event where they sing anything religious...

Sorry, but i think it's a little bit over the hill. There were also games with christian phrases from the bible ... Did the christians blaime about the song ''avé maria'' in hitman? I don't think so ... The songs give an extra for the atmosphere of the game ... And not every muslim cries about the song ... they don't think it's bad that it's in the game ... (some friends of mine are hardcore ps3 gamer and are muslim and don't agree with this ... )  But obviously there are some muslims that really want that and yeah ... What for world is this? Like it's such a disaster? Really now i'm mad at the moslims who asked to change the game ... -__- (not all the muslims but only the muslims who asked to pull the game back to change it ... ) Well now the world must wait one more week because of this ... And i can't play the game in my days that i'm free ... Well thank you dear beloved muslims ...

Hey guys,

I'm locking this before it turns into an all-out religious war.

Please be mindful of other religions and customs, and understand that something which isn't offensive to you could easily be very offensive to somebody else. LBP is going to be awesome to play for everybody, so just this little thing needs to be changed to make sure of that.

Don't worry, Sackboy will still be waiting, eager to play LittleBigPlanet with you. After all, absense makes the heart grow fonder...!
