Any chance of getting FF IV alone on the PSN Store?

I have it on cartridge, I have it as part of the PSOne Anthology, and I was hoping I could buy it from the store to play on my handhelds...

 

But £20 for a 20 year old game with a mediocre, tagged on "sequel" and a gallery mode? Sorry... But no thanks. I just want to play IV on its own again.

The remake is actually very good and worth it so no it's unlikely the Anthlogy version will be released.

Meh the word remake sends shivers down my spine when it comes to Final Fantasy games. Is the core gameplay/story EXACTLY the same as the SNES version?

Everything is exactly the same as the SNES version except with better graphics and translation just like FF 1 and 2 on PSP.

Thanks for that. Seems to have gone from £19.99 to £15.99, so I'll be holding out for a bit :smileyhappy: I bought FF I to keep my going for now... I assume the remake was originally on the PSP? Whatever the case, it's still as I remember it so far story wise, and the gameplay is still nifty :smileyvery-happy: Cheers.
