I'm stuck

At the foresty bit with the big stone knights and dangly tree guys, when I reach the stone knights, I kill the first, but after I reach the second knight, two tree guys come and I just can't manage to kill them both and the knight before the knight does that spell to slow me down, which leaves me defenseless

Got past by running round, but now that pesky butterfly keeps killing me ugh!

If you're a melee character, just avoid the butterfly's slow magic attacks, then it will eventually land and you can smash it up.

P.S: the butterfly is an optional boss

How do I avoid it? The white smog at the other end won't allow me to go through

Lock onto the butterfly with R3 then roll sideways with circle just before the magic hits you. You are invulnerable during the roll animation.
