Just been looking at one of the vids of battlefield 3 and I have to say looks excellent'

Looks like cod franchise are gunna get a beating again

A lot of the videos I've seen are all using PC footage.

 

The console version will be far less visually impressive.

Yeah, I think all the available vids are from the PC version which is the lead platform.  Am looking forward to see how the PS3 version is going to shape up, DICE were putting in some effort to maximise the engine's performance with the Cell's SPU's.
